You know that brand of adverts on Tv, the one that tries to tell all the brain-dead idiots that they are special and they deserve money for just about anything.
Well I am pretty sure that I just heard an advert say:
"If you or your loved one suffered from kidney failure leading to death"
I may be mistaken but I don't think I am and if I am not mistaken that means that the advertisement was aimed at corpses.

I am so sick of idiots using this free speech line as a defence. I don't have to follow the rules because it is free speech. wah wah wah.
This is a prime example:

So I do not know what conflict this person was involved in but of the last few wars, WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Iraq 1 or Iraq 2 the freedoming I didn't see anywhere on any mission statement or hear in any debriefing that they were fighting to allow people to show nipples in their profiles.

And I have to say my journal used to be much more interesting and well written then it has been of late. I don't really know why that is, I have a theory but at this stage it is nothing but that.

I find it in really bad taste when people who are opposed to Obama called him "Barack Hussein Obama ". It is so childish. It is his name, he didn't choose it.

Yesterday flannery got her Tattoo finished and to celebrate that we went to our Japanese restaurant.
We were cutting it close as we arrived at about 21:25 and they close at 22:00. However the second we walked in the door we were greeted with smiles and shouts from the head chef and main waitress woman. Then the chef asked flannery if she had gotten her tattoo finished and she told him that she has just got it finished that day and he practically ran around from behind the sushi bar to see her finished tattoo.
Then while we were eating he came over to us and explained that he had included an extra piece of sashimi for flannery as a thank you for showing him her tattoo. And then he informed me that the dish I ordered was his favourite and then he told me to eat my skin as it was the best part.
Because we had arrived close to closing time we were not finished our food by closing time but we were not asked to leave. In fact while we were still eating the cooking staff sat down and ate their own dinner and watched Japanese version of American idol.
We left with waves and smiles and see you soons’ etc….

Some people are just so thick. It is an easy concept to grasp.
I do not have an issue with what you rate me, I do not have an issue with what you rate anyone. What I have issue with is the act of only rating people what they rate you.
It is a simple concept and yet some people just can not wrap their teeny tiny little brains around it. With this mentality perpetuating the system of revenge ratings the rating mechanism is never going to work properly.

I just got done watching Aguirre: Wrath of God. If you ever want to see the petty and pathetic side of colonial and missionary crusades then you have to watch this movie. It is a little slow but overall I think it achieves what it set out to accomplish. By the end of this movie you are literally sickened by the main character. It isn't any one thing he does, it is just the way he does it and the level the group end up stooping to.
It really does show the non-romantic side of life back in the 1500's and even more so the conquistadores and other such conquerors.
